APPROPRIATION FOR SEVIER VALLEY
2 SPECIAL EVENTS CENTER
3 1997 GENERAL SESSION

6 AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $1,500,000 FROM THE
7 GENERAL FUND TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC
8 DEVELOPMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE SEVIER VALLEY SPECIAL EVENTS
9 CENTER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
10 This act enacts uncodified material.
11 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
12 Section 1. Appropriation.
13 There is appropriated $1,500,000 from the General Fund for fiscal year 1997-98 to the
14 Department of Community and Economic Development for distribution to the Sevier School
15 District for construction of the Sevier Valley Special Events Center, to help fulfill the statewide
16 public purpose of meeting the cultural and recreational needs of the citizens of the state.
17 Section 2. Effective date.
18 This act takes effect on July 1, 1997.
