APPROPRIATION FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTERS

7 EFFECTIVE DATE.
8 This act enacts uncodified material.
9 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
10 Section 1. Appropriation.
11 There is appropriated for fiscal year 1997-98, h [ $950,000 ] $325,000 h from the General
11a Fund to the
12 Division of Community Development within the Department of Community and Economic
13 Development to provide housing for victims of domestic violence. This appropriation may be used
14 to complete housing facilities currently under construction or to alter, renovate, or improve
15 existing facilities.
16 Section 2. Effective date.
17 This act takes effect on July 1, 1997.
