APPROPRIATION FOR PURCHASE OF
2 PROPERTY ADJACENT TO DIXIE COLLEGE
3 1997 GENERAL SESSION

6 AN ACT RELATING TO HIGHER EDUCATION; PROVIDING FOR A $750,000
7 APPROPRIATION TO PURCHASE PROPERTY FOR EXPANSION OF THE DIXIE
8 COLLEGE CAMPUS; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
9 This act enacts uncodified material.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Appropriation.
12 (1) There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 1997-98, $750,000 to the
13 State Board of Regents for the purchase of real property adjacent to Dixie College.
14 (2) The board shall use the appropriation to help acquire property required for expanding
15 the Dixie College campus.
16 Section 2. Effective date.
17 This act takes effect on July 1, 1997.
