8 EXHIBIT, AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS ON THE STATE'S DINOSAURS AND OTHER
9 PALEONTOLOGICAL RESOURCES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
10 This act enacts uncodified material.
11 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
12 Section 1. Appropriation.
13 (1) There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 1998-99, S [$225,000]
13a $100,000 s to the
14 State Museum of Natural History at the University of Utah to:
15 (a) strengthen the education, exhibit, and outreach programs on the state's dinosaurs and
16 other paleontological resources for the citizens of the state and visitors to the state; and
17 (b) ensure proper care of these invaluable fossil collections.
18 h [ (2) It is the intent of the Legislature that this appropriation be ongoing. ] h
19 Section 2. Effective date.
20 This act takes effect on July 1, 1998.
