10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Appropriation.

Amend on 3_goldenrod February 27, 1998 12 (1) There is appropriated S [$850,000] $250,000 s to Utah State University from the General
12a Fund in
13 fiscal year 1998-99 for the Utah Botanical Center to be used for the purpose specified in
14 Subsection (2).
15 (2) The appropriation in Subsection (1) shall be used for the development of infrastructure.
16 (3) The money appropriated in Subsection (1) is nonlapsing.
17 Section 2. Effective date.
18 This act takes effect on July 1, 1998.
