AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $250,000 FROM THE
GENERAL FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 1998-99 TO THE DEPARTMENT OF
COMMUNITY AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FOR USE IN CONSTRUCTION OF
THE BRIDGERLAND COMMUNITY ICE ARENA; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
This act enacts uncodified material.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
Section 1. Appropriation.
There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 1998-99 $250,000 to the
Department of Community and Economic Development for distribution to Cache County for
construction of the Bridgerland Community Ice Arena to help fulfill the statewide public purpose
of providing sports and recreation facilities for the people of the state and of providing a potential
practice facility for the 2002 Olympic Winter Games.
Section 2. Effective date.
This act takes effect on July 1, 1998.
