6    AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING h [ $1,000,000 ] $200,000 h FROM

7     S [ TRANSPORTATION ] GENERAL s FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 1998-99 TO UTAH STATE
7a    UNIVERSITY
8    FOR RELOCATING A BOTANICAL CENTER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
9    This act enacts uncodified material.
10    Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11        Section 1. Appropriation.
12        There is appropriated from the S [ Transportation ] GENERAL s Fund for fiscal year 1998-99,
12a     h [ $1,000,000 ] $200,000 h
13    to Utah State University.
14        (2) (a) It is the intent of the Legislature that this appropriation shall be used for the
15    relocation of the Utah Botanical Garden from Farmington adjacent to U.S. Highway 89 to the site
16    in Kaysville which shall be known as the Utah Botanical Center.
17        (b) The relocation under Subsection (2)(a) includes installing infrastructure, transplanting
18    plant materials, establishing new plants, and establishing facilities at the new site.
