6 AN ACT RELATING TO REVENUE AND TAXATION AND STATE AFFAIRS IN
7 GENERAL; REPEALING THE SUNSET DATE FOR TITLE 59, CHAPTER 1, PART 11,
8 GOVERNING PRIVATE COLLECTORS OF DELINQUENT TAXES; AND REPEALING
9 OBSOLETE LANGUAGE REQUIRING A STUDY OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF
10 PRIVATE COLLECTION EFFORTS.
11 This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
12 AMENDS:
13 63-55-259, as last amended by Chapters 15 and 134, Laws of Utah 1997
14 REPEALS:
15 59-1-1103, as enacted by Chapter 165, Laws of Utah 1994
16 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
17 Section 1. Section 63-55-259 is amended to read:
18 63-55-259. Repeal dates, Title 59.
19 [(1) Title 59, Chapter 1, Part 11, Private Collection, is repealed July 1, 1998.]
20 [(2)] (1) Section 59-10-530.5, Homeless Trust Account, is repealed July 1, 2007.
21 [(3)] (2) Title 59, Chapter 17a, State Appropriations and Tax Limitation Act, is repealed
22 July 1, 2005.
23 Section 2. Repealer.
24 This act repeals:
25 Section 59-1-1103, Study mandated -- Repealer.
