6 AN ACT RELATING TO COUNTIES; MODIFYING POWERS OF COUNTY LEGISLATIVE
7 BODY WITH RESPECT TO REHABILITATION AND PROTECTION OF FISH AND
8 GAME; AND MAKING TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS.
9 This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
10 AMENDS:
11 17-5-225, as renumbered and amended by Chapter 147, Laws of Utah 1994
12 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
13 Section 1. Section 17-5-225 is amended to read:
14 17-5-225. Protection of fish and game.
15 [They] A county legislative body may:
16 (1) make regulations for the rehabilitation and protection of fish and game not in conflict
17 with the laws of the state [for the protection thereof]; and
18 (2) operate facilities for the rehabilitation and protection of fish and game or contract with
19 private contractors to operate those facilities.
