Mr. Speaker:

    The Judiciary Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 270, CHILD SUPPORT FOR ADULT CHILDREN, by Representative J. Swallow, with the following amendments:
1.    Page 4, Line 6:    After "child" delete "such as" insert "or on the adult child's behalf including"
2.    Page 6, Lines 25-31:    Delete lines 25 through 31 and insert "(3) In the case of an incapacitated adult child, any amount that the incapacitated adult child can contribute to his or her support may be considered in the determination of child support and may be used to justify a reduction in the amount of support ordered, except that in the case of orders involving multiple children, the reduction shall not be greater than the effect of reducing the total number of children by one in the child support table calculation.
3.    Page 7, Line 1:    Delete the line
