House Floor Amendments

Representative Dillree proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 3, Line 2:    After line 2 insert:
        "(8)(a) All of the fine and forfeiture revenue generated by using photo radar or traffic signal photo detection shall be remitted as follows:
        (i) 1/4 shall be remitted to the treasurer of the local authority;
        (ii) 1/2 shall be remitted to the state treasurer to be deposited in the General Fund; and
        (iii) 1/4 shall be remitted to the state treasurer to be deposited in the Transportation Fund.
        (b) This Subsection (8) is an exception to the provisions in Sections 78-3-14.5 and 78-5-116.
        (c) This Subsection (8) does not affect the collection or distribution of any surcharge imposed upon the fine or forfeiture."
