Representative Haymond proposes the following amendments:
1. Page 2, Line 1: Delete "1999" and insert "1998"
2. Page 2, Line 18: After line 18 insert the following as a new subsection:
"(7) The Division of Child and Family Services shall certify that a person has become an adoptive parent or guardian of a qualified child, on a form provided by the tax commission. The form shall include the name and Social Security number of the individual who is claiming the credit. That individual shall attach the certification form to the tax return in which the credit is claimed."
3. Page 2, Line 20: Delete "1999" and insert "1998"
