Representative Wright proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 1:    Delete "LAND PURCHASE - NORTH CAMPUS OF" and insert
    (Goldenrod copy)     "REVIEW OF LEASE BETWEEN THE UTAH STATE DEVELOPMENTAL CENTER AND"

2.    Page 1, line 7:    Delete "ENTER A LAND PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH" and
    (Goldenrod Copy)     insert "REVIEW THE ADVISABILITY OF A LEASE BETWEEN"

2.    Page 1, Line 7a:    After "COLLEGE" insert "AND"

3.    Page 1, Line 8:    Delete "FOR CERTAIN LANDS OWNED BY"

4.    Page 2, Lines 17-25:    Delete lines 17-25 and insert:
    (Goldenrod copy)    "(iii) By July 1, 1998, the Division of Facilities Construction and Management shall:
        (A) review the advisability of leasing developmental center land to Utah Valley State College;
        (B) if the division determines that a lease is advisable, identify which land should be leased, the terms of the lease, and a financing mechanism for the lease; and
        (C) report its findings, conclusions, and recommendations to the interim Education committee, the interim Health and Human Services committee, and the interim Executive Appropriations committee."
