         RESOLUTION AMENDING INTANGIBLE PROPERTY TAX PROVISIONS

Senator Stephenson proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 8:    After "IF" delete "THE"

2.    Page 1, Lines 9 - 10:    Delete Lines 9 - 10

3.    Page 1, Line 11:    At the beginning of Line 11 delete "PROPERTY" and insert "INTANGIBLE PROPERTY IS TAXED AS PROPERTY, THE INCOME THEREFROM SHALL NOT ALSO BE TAXED"

4.    Page 3, Line 17:    After "if" delete the remainder of Line 17

5.    Page 3, Line 18:    Delete Line 18 and insert "intangible property is taxed as property, the income therefrom shall not also be taxed."
