APPROPRIATION FOR UTAH HIGHWAY

6 AN ACT RELATING TO PUBLIC SAFETY AND APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING
7 S [ $1,263,780 ] $505,500 s FROM THE GENERAL FUND FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000 TO THE UTAH
8 HIGHWAY PATROL DIVISION TO FUND THE ADDITION OF S [ 15 ] 6 s NEW FIELD TROOPERS;
9 AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
10 This act enacts uncodified material.
11 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
12 Section 1. Appropriation.
13 Except as provided in H.B. 4, Appropriations Coordination Act, there is appropriated from
14 the General Fund for fiscal year 1999-2000, S [ $1,263,780 ] $505,500 s to the Utah Highway Patrol Division of
15 the state Department of Public Safety, for the costs directly involved in the addition of S [ 15 ] 6 s new field
16 troopers.
17 Section 2. Effective date.
18 This act takes effect on July 1, 1999.
