             5      AN ACT RELATING TO REAL ESTATE; REPEALING THE STATUTORY PROVISIONS
             6      RELATING TO TOWNSITES; AND PROVIDING THAT TOWNSITE LANDS FALL UNDER
             7      THE JURISDICTION OF THE CITY OR COUNTY WHERE LOCATED.
             8      This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
             9      REPEALS:

             29      This act enacts uncodified material.
             30      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             31          Section 1. Repealer.
             32          This act repeals:
             33          Section 57-7-1, Disposition of lots to persons entitled after entry.
             34          Section 57-7-2, Notice of entry.
             35          Section 57-7-3, Claims to lots to be filed -- Time and place.
             36          Section 57-7-4, Adverse claims -- Determination.
             37          Section 57-7-5, Proof of claims when no adverse claim advanced.
             38          Section 57-7-6, Conveyance and deed to proper claimant.
             39          Section 57-7-7, When judge is claimant of lands.
             40          Section 57-7-8, When city or town officer is claimant of lands.
             41          Section 57-7-9, Change of venue.
             42          Section 57-7-10, Statement of expenses.
             43          Section 57-7-11, Payment to be made before conveyance.
             44          Section 57-7-12, Full payment to be made within six months -- Lien for nonpayment
             45      -- Sale to satisfy.
             46          Section 57-7-13, Errors in measurement or computation.
             47          Section 57-7-14, Death of officer -- Authority to complete trust vests in successor.
             48          Section 57-7-15, Disposition of unclaimed lands.
             49          Section 57-7-16, Sale of unclaimed lands.
             50          Section 57-7-17, Reservation of lands for public uses.
             51          Section 57-7-18, Disposition of proceeds of sales.
             52          Section 57-7-19, Possession for ten years entitles claimant to conveyance.
             53          Section 2. Transition clause.
             54          All existing lands previously under the jurisdiction of Title 57, Chapter 7, Townsites, shall
             55      fall under the jurisdiction of the city, town, municipality, or county in whose boundaries that land
             56      is located.
