APPROPRIATION FOR UTAH SUMMER GAMES

5 AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $50,000 FROM THE
6 GENERAL FUND TO THE OFFICE OF UNIVERSITY ADVANCEMENT OF SOUTHERN
7 UTAH UNIVERSITY FOR THE UTAH SUMMER GAMES; AND PROVIDING AN
8 EFFECTIVE DATE.
9 This act enacts uncodified material.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Appropriation.
12 Except as provided in H.B. 4, Appropriations Coordination Act, there is appropriated
13 $50,000 from the General Fund for fiscal year 1999-2000 to the Office of University Advancement
14 of Southern Utah University to help defray the costs of staging the event known as the Utah
15 Summer Games which assists in promoting tourism and economic development within the state.
16 Section 2. Effective date.
17 This act takes effect on July 1, 1999.
