First Substitute S.B. 23

Senator Mike Dmitrich proposes to substitute the following bill:

1 FUNDING FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER
2 1999 GENERAL SESSION
3 STATE OF UTAH
4 Sponsor: Mike Dmitrich
5 AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $100,000 TO THE
6 DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES FOR THE FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER OF
7 SOUTHEASTERN UTAH; PROVIDING THAT THE FUNDS BE NONLAPSING; AND
8 PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
9 This act enacts uncodified material.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Appropriation.
12 (1) Except as provided in H.B. 4, Appropriations Coordination Act, there is appropriated
13 from S [ the General Fund for fiscal year 1999-2000, $100,000 to the Division of Child and Family
14 Services, ] FUNDS ACQUIRED BY ELIMINATING CURRENT FUNDING FOR THE ATTORNEY
14a GENERAL'S OFFICE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE MODIFICATION OF EXISTING CHILD SUPPORT, s
14b Department of Human Services, for the Family Support Center of Southeastern Utah.
15 (2) The money appropriated in Subsection (1) is nonlapsing.
16 Section 2. Effective date.
17 This act takes effect on July 1, 1999.
