RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT
OF LEGISLATIVE FISCAL ANALYST
1999 GENERAL SESSION
STATE OF UTAH

A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE LEGISLATURE APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF
JOHN E. MASSEY AS LEGISLATIVE FISCAL ANALYST.
Be it resolved by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
WHEREAS, pursuant to Utah Code Ann. Section 36-12-7 , (1953), the Legislative
Management Committee upon recommendation of its Budget Subcommittee, has recommended
the appointment of Mr. John E. Massey as Legislative Fiscal Analyst for the Utah Legislature; and
WHEREAS, the appointment of Mr. John E. Massey in this position for a term of office
of six years commencing August 1, 1998, is subject to further approval of a majority vote of both
the House of Representatives and the Senate:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Legislature of the state of Utah that the
appointment of Mr. John E. Massey as Legislative Fiscal Analyst for the Utah Legislature be
approved for a six-year term of office commencing August 1, 1998.
