             5      AN ACT RELATING TO CRIMINAL LAW; ENACTING THE CRIME OF RECKLESS
             6      ENDANGERMENT; AND PROVIDING A PENALTY.
             7      This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
             8      ENACTS:
             9          76-5-112, Utah Code Annotated 1953
             10      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             11          Section 1. Section 76-5-112 is enacted to read:
             12          76-5-112. Reckless endangerment -- Penalty.
             13          (1) A person commits reckless endangerment if, under circumstances not amounting to a
             14      felony offense, the person recklessly engages in conduct that creates a substantial risk of death or
             15      serious bodily injury to another person.
             16          (2) Reckless endangerment is a class A misdemeanor.
