6 AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $150,000 FROM THE
7 GENERAL FUND IN FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000 TO THE DIVISION OF WILDLIFE
8 RESOURCES TO COMPENSATE LIVESTOCK OWNERS FOR LIVESTOCK DAMAGED
9 BY COUGAR AND BEAR; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
10 This act enacts uncodified material.
11 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
12 Section 1. Appropriation.
13 Except as provided in H.B. 4, Appropriations Coordination Act, there is appropriated from
14 the General Fund for fiscal year 1999-2000, $150,000 to the Division of Wildlife Resources to
15 compensate livestock owners for livestock damaged by cougar and bear.
16 Section 2. Effective date.
17 This act takes effect on July 1, 1999.
