RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
2 APPOINTMENT OF LEGISLATIVE FISCAL
3 ANALYST
4 1999 GENERAL SESSION

7 A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE LEGISLATURE APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF
8 JOHN E. MASSEY AS LEGISLATIVE FISCAL ANALYST.
9 Be it resolved by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
10 WHEREAS, pursuant to Utah Code Ann. Section 36-12-7 , (1953), the Legislative
11 Management Committee upon recommendation of its Budget Subcommittee, has recommended
12 the appointment of Mr. John E. Massey as Legislative Fiscal Analyst for the Utah Legislature; and
13 WHEREAS, the appointment of Mr. John E. Massey in this position for a term of office
14 of six years commencing August 1, 1998, is subject to further approval of a majority vote of both
15 the House of Representatives and the Senate:
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Legislature of the state of Utah that the
17 appointment of Mr. John E. Massey as Legislative Fiscal Analyst for the Utah Legislature be
18 approved for a six-year term of the office commencing August 1, 1998.
