Mr. Speaker:

    The Public Utilities and Technology Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 135, PREVENTION OF UNAUTHORIZED TELECOMMUNICATIONS PROVIDER CHANGE, by Representative S. Allen, with the following amendments:
    
    1. Page 1, Line 7:    After "PROHIBITING" delete "THE" and insert "AN"
    2. Page 1, Line 8:    After "CHANGE" delete "KNOWN AS SLAMMING"
    3. Page 1, Line 19:    After "54-8b-18." delete "Slamming - -"
    4. Page 2, Lines 31-32:    Delete lines 31 and 32
         Renumber remaining sections accordingly.
    5. Page 5, Line 149:    After "enforce" delete "violations of slamming" and insert "provisions relating to an unauthorized telecommunication service provider change"
