Representative Arent proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 5, Line 142:    After "forth" delete "the" and after "Agreement" delete ", as of November"

2.    Page 5, Line 143:    Delete "23, 1998,"

3.    Page 5, Line 145:    After the period delete the rest of the line 145

4.    Page 5, Lines 146-147:    Delete lines 146 and 147 and insert:
        "Where Part 2 instructs that a term be given the same definition as that term is given in the Master Settlement Agreement, the definition shall be that set forth in the Master Settlement Agreement, as it may be amended from time to time."

4.    Page 9, Line 255:    Delete the period and after "share"" insert a colon

5.    Page 9, Line 270:    Delete the period and after "share"" insert a colon

6.    Page 9, Line 340:    After "payment" delete "is" and insert "in"
