                  A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES REVISING HOUSE RULES;
                  CHANGING THE RETIREMENT STANDING COMMITTEE TO THE
                  QUASI-GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES STANDING COMMITTEE; MAKING TECHNICAL
                  CHANGES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
                  This resolution affects legislative rules as follows:
                  AMENDS:
                      HR-24.05
                  Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the state of Utah:
                      Section 1. HR-24.05 is amended to read:
                       HR-24.05. Standing Committees.
                      (1) The Speaker shall appoint the following standing committees:
                      [(1)] (a) Business, Labor, and Economic Development;
                      [(2)] (b) Education;
                      [(3)] (c) Government Operations;
                      [(4)] (d) Health and Human Services;
                      [(5)] (e) House Rules (Sifting);
                      [(6)] (f) Judiciary;
                      [(7)] (g) Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice;
                      [(8)] (h) Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment;
                      [(9)] (i) Political Subdivisions;
                      [(10)] (j) Public Utilities and Technology;
                      [(11) Retirement;]
                      [(12)] (k) Revenue and Taxation;


                      [(13)] (l) Transportation; and
                      [(14)] (m) Workforce Services.
                      (2) The Legislative Quasi-Governmental Entities Committee created in Section 63-95-201
                  appointed from the members of the House of Representatives constitute a standing committee.
                      Section 2. Effective date.
                      This resolution takes effect upon approval by a constitutional majority vote of all members
                  of the House of Representatives.
