5 AN ACT RELATING TO HIGHER EDUCATION; MODIFYING CERTAIN REVENUE BOND
6 AUTHORIZATIONS; REPEALING OBSOLETE AUTHORIZATIONS; AND MAKING
7 TECHNICAL CORRECTIONS.
8 This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:

24 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
25 Section 1. Section 53B-22-106 is amended to read:
26 53B-22-106. Utah Valley State College revenue bonds -- Student center addition.
27 (1) The State Board of Regents, on behalf of Utah Valley [Community] State College, may

28 issue, sell, and deliver revenue bonds or other evidences of indebtedness of Utah Valley
29 [Community] State College to borrow money on the credit of the income and revenues of Utah
30 Valley [Community] State College, other than appropriations of the Legislature, to finance the cost
31 of constructing, furnishing, and equipping a student center addition.
32 (2) The bonds or other evidences of indebtedness authorized by this section may not
33 exceed [$4,400,000] $13,500,000 and shall be issued in accordance with Title 53B, Chapter 21,
34 Revenue Bonds, under such terms and conditions and in such amounts as the board, by resolution,
35 determines are reasonable and necessary.
36 Section 2. Repealer.
37 This act repeals:
38 Section 53B-22-101, University of Utah revenue bonds -- Utility submetering devices
39 at student housing.
40 Section 53B-22-102, Utah State University revenue bonds -- Student family housing
41 and Human Resource Research Center.
42 Section 53B-22-103, Weber State University revenue bonds -- Student services
43 building.
44 Section 53B-22-105, Dixie College revenue bonds -- Student center building.
45 Section 53B-22-107, Salt Lake Community College revenue bonds --
46 Classroom/physical education facility.
47 Section 53B-22-108, Utah State University revenue bonds -- PBX telephone switch.
48 Section 53B-22-109, Salt Lake Community College revenue bonds -- Science/major
49 industry building.
50 Section 53B-22-110, Snow College revenue bonds -- Administration-student center.
51 Section 53B-22-111, Southern Utah University revenue bonds -- Stadium expansion.
52 Section 53B-22-112, University of Utah revenue bonds -- Biology research building.
53 Section 53B-22-113, University of Utah revenue bonds -- Robert L. Rice Stadium
54 renovation and expansion.
55 Section 53B-22-114, College of Eastern Utah revenue bonds -- Student center.
