APPROPRIATION FOR UTAH BOTANICAL

6 AN ACT RELATING TO APPROPRIATIONS; APPROPRIATING $500,000 TO UTAH STATE
7 UNIVERSITY FOR COSTS RELATED TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE UTAH
8 BOTANICAL CENTER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
9 This act enacts uncodified material.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Appropriation.
12 (1) There is appropriated $500,000 from the General Fund for fiscal year 2000-01 to Utah
13 State University to use for costs associated with the development and operation of the Utah
14 Botanical Center in Kaysville.
15 (2) The funds appropriated under Subsection (1) are nonlapsing.
16 Section 2. Effective date.
17 This act takes effect on July 1, 2000.
