RESOLUTION APPROVING REMOVAL OF
2 DISTRICT COURT FROM PARK CITY
3 2000 GENERAL SESSION
4 STATE OF UTAH

6 A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE LEGISLATURE APPROVING THE REMOVAL OF THE
7 DISTRICT COURT FROM WITHIN THE MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES OF PARK CITY,
8 UTAH.
9 Be it resolved by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
10 WHEREAS, a circuit court was located within the municipal boundaries of Park City, Utah
11 on and before January 1, 1994;
12 WHEREAS, Section 78-3-13.4 requires the Legislature to approve by joint resolution
13 removal of a district court from a municipality in which the district court or the circuit court
14 existed on January 1, 1994; and
15 WHEREAS, the Utah Judicial Council and Park City propose to close the Park City
16 location of the district court in order to open a Silver Creek location of the district court:
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Legislature of the state of Utah
18 approves removing the district court from within the municipal boundaries of Park City, Utah.
19 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be sent to the Utah Judicial
20 Council and Park City.
