Mr. President:
The Judiciary Committee reports a favorable recommendation on 3rd Sub. H.B. 176, WEAPONS RESTRICTIONS FOR MENTALLY ILL PERSONS, by Representative G. Cox,
with the following amendments:
1. Page 3, Line 77: After "Chapter 10," insert "Part 5,"
2. Page 3, Lines 78-80: Delete lines 78 through 80
3. Page 3, Line 81: Delete "(h)" and insert "(g)" and after "trial" insert "for a violation of:
(i) a felony offense;
(ii) Title 76, Chapter 5, Offenses Against the Person; or
(iii) Title 76, Chapter 10, Part 5, Weapons"
4. Page 3, Line 82: Delete "(i)" and insert "(h)"
5. Page 3, Line 83: After "(2)" delete "current"
