    The Education Committee reports a favorable recommendation on H.B. 226, PUBLIC EDUCATION REVISIONS, by Representative S. Allen, with the following amendments and recommends it be placed on the Consent Calendar.

1.    Page 1, Line 23:    After line 23 insert:

        " 35A-1-208, as enacted by Chapter 240, Laws of Utah 1996"

2.    Page 10, Line 290:    After "Administrative" delete "certificated" and insert "licensed"

3.    Page 14, Line 400:    After line 400 insert:

        "Section 35A-1-208, Study of future consolidation."
