Representative Buckner proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 2, Line 34
    House Amendments,
    2-24-2000:    After "(b)" delete "Each" and insert "(i) Except as provided in Subsection (3)(b)(ii), each" and after "less than" delete "five" and insert "ten"

2.    Page 2, Line 35
    House Amendments,
    2-24-2000:    Delete "30" and insert "90" and after line 35 insert:

        "(ii) A hearing may be held more than 90 days after an appeal or grievance is filed if:
        (A) the officer and employer agree; or
        (B) for good cause the commission so orders."
