             6      This act modifies code sections creating and governing state loan commissioners by repealing
             7      obsolete and lapsed sections governing state loan commissioners. This act repeals provisions
             8      authorizing certain paid-off loans.
             9      This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
             10      REPEALS:
             11          66-1-1, as last amended by Chapter 243, Laws of Utah 1996
             12          66-1-3, Utah Code Annotated 1953
             13          66-1-4, Utah Code Annotated 1953
             14          66-6-1, as last amended by Chapter 92, Laws of Utah 1987
             15          66-6-2, as enacted by Chapter 159, Laws of Utah 1961
             16          66-6-3, as enacted by Chapter 159, Laws of Utah 1961
             17          66-6-4, as last amended by Chapter 12, Laws of Utah 1994
             18          66-7-1, as last amended by Chapter 92, Laws of Utah 1987
             19          66-7-2, as enacted by Chapter 160, Laws of Utah 1961
             20          66-7-3, as enacted by Chapter 160, Laws of Utah 1961
             21          66-7-4, as enacted by Chapter 160, Laws of Utah 1961
             22      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             23          Section 1. Repealer.
             24          This act repeals:
             25          Section 66-1-1, Members of state board.
             26          Section 66-1-3, Payment of loans.
             27          Section 66-1-4, Biennial report to governor.


             28          Section 66-6-1, Authority to negotiate -- Use of proceeds.
             29          Section 66-6-2, When loan to be made -- Amount of loan.
             30          Section 66-6-3, Authority to secure funds to assure availability of loan balance.
             31          Section 66-6-4, Repayment of loan.
             32          Section 66-7-1, Authority to negotiate -- Use of proceeds.
             33          Section 66-7-2, When loan to be made -- Amount.
             34          Section 66-7-3, Authority to secure funds to assure availability of loan balance.
             35          Section 66-7-4, Repayment of loan.
