             7      This act appropriates $495,000 from the General Fund to the Center for Persons with
             8      Disabilities at Utah State University for fiscal year 2001-02 for long-term training of
             9      supported employment personnel, interpreters for the deaf, and behavior support specialists.
             10      The funding will be disseminated through a competitive bid process to training programs
             11      in Utah. This act takes effect July 1, 2001.
             12      This act enacts uncodified material.
             13      Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
             14          Section 1. Appropriation.
             15          (1) There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 2001-02, $495,000 to the
             16      Center for Persons with Disabilities at Utah State University.
             17          (2) The funding will be disseminated by the Center for Persons with Disabilities at Utah
             18      State University through a competitive bid process to training programs in Utah, including
             19      post-secondary education institutions, to train:
             20          (a) supported employment personnel;
             21          (b) interpreters for the deaf; and
             22          (c) behavior support specialists.
             23          (3) The money appropriated in Subsection (1) is nonlapsing.
             24          Section 2. Effective date.
             25          This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
