APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE BLIND CENTER
2 2001 GENERAL SESSION
3 STATE OF UTAH

5 This act appropriates $360,000 from the General Fund to the Division of Services for the
6 Blind and Visually Impaired within the Utah State Office of Rehabilitation for fiscal year
7 2001-02. This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
8 This act enacts uncodified material.
9 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
10 Section 1. Appropriation.
11 (1) There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal year 2001-02 only, $360,000
12 to the Division of Services for the Blind and Visually Impaired within the Utah State Office of
13 Rehabilitation to provide services to deaf and blind persons who require communication assistance
14 in their daily living activities.
15 (2) The appropriation under Subsection (1) is nonlapsing.
16 Section 2. Effective date.
17 This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
