APPROPRIATION FOR UTAH
2 SEMICONDUCTOR TECHNICAL CENTER
3 2001 GENERAL SESSION

6 This act provides a one-time $500,000 appropriation to Utah Valley State College to use for
7 costs associated with the development and operation of the Utah Semiconductor Technology
8 Center. The act takes effect July 1, 2001.
9 This act enacts uncodified material.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Appropriation.
12 (1) There is appropriated from the General Fund for fiscal 2001-02 only, $500,000 to Utah
13 Valley State College to use for costs associated with the development and operation of the Utah
14 Semiconductor Technology Center.
15 (2) The appropriation is nonlapsing.
16 Section 2. Effective date.
17 This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
