HIGHER EDUCATION CLASSROOM COSTS IN
2 UNDERSERVED AREAS
3 2001 GENERAL SESSION

6 This act provides a $293,000 appropriation to pay facility lease and operating costs for
7 continuing education programs offered by the Utah State University at Brigham City, Moab,
8 and Tooele. This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
9 This act enacts uncodified material.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Appropriation.
12 (1) There is appropriated to the State Board of Regents from the General Fund for fiscal
13 year 2001-02 only, $293,000 to be used by Utah State University for its continuing education
14 program.
15 (2) The university shall use the appropriation for facility lease and operating costs at the
16 following sites:
17 (a) $125,000 at the Brigham City site;
18 (b) $35,000 at the Moab site; and
19 (c) $133,000 at the Tooele site.
20 Section 2. Effective date.
21 This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
