APPROPRIATION TO MEMORY GROVE

6 This act appropriates h [ $158,000 ] $50,000 h from the General Fund to the Department of
6a Community and
7 Economic Development for Memory Grove projects. This act takes effect July 1, 2001.
8 This act enacts uncodified material.
9 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
10 Section 1. Appropriation.
11 (1) Because Memory Grove is a valuable contributor to the cultural and historic
12 enrichment of the people of Utah, there is appropriated for fiscal year 2001-02 only, h [ $158,000 ]
12a $50,000 h from
13 the General Fund to the Department of Community and Economic Development.
14 (2) It is the intent of the Legislature that the Department of Community and Economic
15 Development distribute the h [ $158,000 ] $50,000 h to the Memory Grove Foundation for restoration
15a and
16 construction projects.
17 Section 2. Effective date.
18 This act takes effect on July 1, 2001.
