RESTRICTIONS ON COURT HOUSE PARKING

6 This act requires that parking fees at state-owned S or leased s court facilities be approved
6a by the
7 Legislature before implementation.
8 This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
9 ENACTS:
10 63-38-3.3, Utah Code Annotated 1953
11 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
12 Section 1. Section 63-38-3.3 is enacted to read:
13 63-38-3.3. Parking fees at court buildings.
14 (1) State-owned S OR LEASED s court facilities may not charge or collect fees for parking
14a without prior
15 approval by the Legislature.
16 (2) The Legislature may approve, increase, decrease and approve, or reject any parking fee
17 submitted to it by the courts.
