REPEAL OF COMMISSIONERS OF DEEDS PROVISIONS
2001 GENERAL SESSION

This act modifies the Notarization and Authentication Title by repealing certain obsolete and
lapsed sections relating to commissioners of deeds.
This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
Section 1. Repealer.
This act repeals:
Section 46-2-1, Appointment -- Term -- Removal.
Section 46-2-2, Powers.
Section 46-2-3, Place of residence and date commission expires affixed to signature.
Section 46-2-4, Force and effect of official acts.
Section 46-2-5, Official oath.
Section 46-2-6, Oaths and seals of commissioners to be filed.
Section 46-2-7, Fees.
Section 46-2-8, Copy of laws to accompany commission.
Section 46-2-9, Commissioners of other states and countries residing here.
