FISCAL YEAR FOR UTAH COMPREHENSIVE
HEALTH INSURANCE POOL
2001 GENERAL SESSION

This act modifies the Comprehensive Health Insurance Pool Act. This act changes the
annual reporting period from a calendar year to a fiscal year and makes a corresponding
change in the due date of the report to the insurance commissioner.
This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:

31A-29-108, as enacted by Chapter 232, Laws of Utah 1990
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
Section 1. Section 31A-29-108 is amended to read:
31A-29-108. Examination -- Financial report.
(1) The pool is subject to examination by the commissioner.
(2) By [March] December 1 of each year, the board shall submit to the commissioner an
audited financial report for the preceding [calendar] fiscal year in a form approved by the
commissioner.
