FISCAL YEAR FOR UTAH COMPREHENSIVE
2 HEALTH INSURANCE POOL
3 2001 GENERAL SESSION

6 This act modifies the Comprehensive Health Insurance Pool Act. This act changes the
7 annual reporting period from a calendar year to a fiscal year and makes a corresponding
8 change in the due date of the report to the insurance commissioner.
9 This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
10 AMENDS:
11 31A-29-108, as enacted by Chapter 232, Laws of Utah 1990
12 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
13 Section 1. Section 31A-29-108 is amended to read:
14 31A-29-108. Examination -- Financial report.
15 (1) The pool is subject to examination by the commissioner.
16 (2) By [March] December 1 of each year, the board shall submit to the commissioner an
17 audited financial report for the preceding [calendar] fiscal year in a form approved by the
18 commissioner.
