    The Business, Labor, and Economic Development Committee recommends H.B. 298, WORKERS' COMPENSATION BENEFITS TO VOLUNTEER AUXILIARY POLICE OFFICERS, by Representative N. Hansen, be replaced and reports a favorable recommendation on 1st Sub. H.B. 298, WORKERS' COMPENSATION BENEFITS TO VOLUNTEER SAFETY OFFICERS with the following amendments:

1. Page 1, Line 25:     After "firefighter, the" insert "average"

2. Page 2, Line 26:    Delete "compensation rate" and insert "wage"
