Representative Mike Thompson proposes the following amendments:

1.    Page 1, Line 6:    After "and" delete "attempt" and insert "make reasonable efforts"

2.    Page 1, Line 16:    After " parent, " delete " attempt " and insert " make reasonable efforts "

3.    Page 1, Line 21:    After " or " delete " attempt " and insert " make reasonable efforts "

        These amendments were approved on June 20, 2001, by the Health and Human Services Interim Committee with a vote of 14 - 0 - 3.
