First Substitute H.B. 47

Senator David L. Gladwell proposes the following substitute bill:

1 EXTENSION OF SUNSET DATES ON OFFICE OF
2 COURT ADMINISTRATOR AND ALTERNATIVE
3 DISPUTE RESOLUTION
4 2002 GENERAL SESSION
5 STATE OF UTAH

7 This act modifies the Sunset Act, extending the sunset dates on the Office of Court
8 Administrator and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act.
9 This act affects sections of Utah Code Annotated 1953 as follows:
10 AMENDS:
11 63-55-278, as last amended by Chapters 15, 133 and 134, Laws of Utah 1997
12 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
13 Section 1. Section 63-55-278 is amended to read:
14 63-55-278. Repeal dates, Title 78.
15 (1) The Office of the Court Administrator, created in Section 78-3-23 , is repealed July 1,
16 [2002] 2012.
17 (2) Foster care citizen review boards and steering committee, created in Title 78, Chapter
18 3g, [are] is repealed July 1, 2007.
19 (3) Alternative Dispute Resolution Act, created in Title 78, Chapter 31b, is repealed July
20 1, [2002] 2012.
