APPROPRIATION FOR NATURE CENTER IN
2 OGDEN
3 2002 GENERAL SESSION
4 STATE OF UTAH

6 This act appropriates $250,000 from the General Fund, for fiscal year 2002-03 only, to the
7 Department of Community and Economic Development to be distributed to the Ogden
8 Nature Center. This act takes effect on July 1, 2002.
9 This act enacts uncodified material.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Appropriation.
12 (1) Because of the importance of providing nature education for the students and citizens
13 of Utah and because of the need to provide a sanctuary for wildlife and an opportunity for Utahns
14 to enjoy nature, for fiscal year 2002-03 only, there is appropriated $250,000 from the General Fund
15 to the Department of Community and Economic Development.
16 (2) It is the intent of the Legislature that the Department of Community and Economic
17 Development distribute the money appropriated in Subsection (1) to the Ogden Nature Center in
18 Ogden, Utah.
19 Section 2. Effective date.
20 This act takes effect on July 1, 2002.
