APPROPRIATION FOR LONG DISTANCE
2 GRADUATE PROGRAM
3 2002 GENERAL SESSION

6 This act appropriates $195,000 for fiscal year 2002-03 and as an ongoing appropriation from
7 the General Fund to Utah State University for a distance education doctorate program. This
8 act takes effect on July 1, 2002.
9 This act enacts uncodified material.
10 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
11 Section 1. Appropriation.
12 (1) Subject to future budget constraints, there is appropriated, as an ongoing appropriation,
13 $195,000 for fiscal year 2002-03 from the General Fund to Utah State University.
14 (2) It is the intent of the Legislature that the appropriation under Subsection (1) shall be
15 used for a distance education doctorate program.
16 Section 2. Effective date.
17 This act takes effect on July 1, 2002.
