1. S.B. 43, Uniform Trust Act (L. Hillyard)
Sen. Hillyard presented the bill to the committee.
George Sutton spoke to the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Davis moved to place S.B. 43 on the Master Study Resolution for interim study.
The motion passed unanimously.
2. S.B. 48, Public Agency Insurance Mutual Amendments (J. Hickman)
Sen. Hickman presented the bill to the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Davis moved to adopt 1st Sub. S.B. 48.
The motion passed unanimously.
Brent Gardner, Utah Association of Counties; Merwin Stewart, Insurance Commissioner;
Neal Gooch, Deputy Insurance Commissioner; Lee Ellertson, Labor Commission; Kelly Atkinson, Executive Director Utah Health Insurance Association; all spoke to the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Davis moved to pass 1st Sub. S. B. 48 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
