Sen. Eastman called the meeting to order at 8:08 a.m.
1. MOTION: Sen. Hellewell moved to approve minutes of January 23rd, 2002.
The motion passed unanimously.
2. S.B. 78 AMENDMENTS TO CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS REGARDING UNREASONABLE DELAYS (Sen. S. Jenkins)
Sen. Jenkins presented the bill to the committee.
John Young, Utah Subcontractors Council and Robert Bergman, Utah Mechanical Contractors Association, spoke in favor of the bill. Taz Biesinger, Utah Home Builders Association and Richard Thorn, Association of General Contractors, spoke against the bill.
MOTION: Sen. Mayne moved to pass S.B.78 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
The motion passed unanimously.
3. S.B. 115 MOBILE HOME PARK RESIDENCY TECHNICAL REVISIONS (Sen. D. Eastman)
Sen. Eastman presented the bill to the committee.

MOTION: Sen. Bramble moved to pass S.B. 115 out of committee with a favorable recommendation.
