             6      A resolution of the House of Representatives revising House rules by changing the name
             7      of a House standing committee. This resolution has an immediate effective date.
             8      This resolution affects legislative rules as follows:
             9      AMENDS:
             10          HR-24.05
             11      Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the state of Utah:
             12          Section 1. HR-24.05 is amended to read:
             13           HR-24.05. Standing Committees.
             14          (1) The Speaker shall appoint the following standing committees:
             15          (a) Business and Labor;
             16          (b) Education;
             17          (c) Government Operations;
             18          (d) Health and Human Services;
             19          (e) House Rules (Sifting);
             20          (f) Judiciary;
             21          (g) Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice;
             22          (h) Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment;
             23          (i) Political Subdivisions;
             24          (j) Public Utilities and Technology;
             25          (k) Revenue and Taxation;
             26          (l) Transportation; and
             27          (m) Workforce Services and Community and Economic Development.



             28          (2) The [Legislative Quasi-Governmental] members of the Retirement and Independent
             29      Entities Committee created in Section [ 63-95-201 ] 63E-1-201 who are appointed from the
             30      [members of the] House of Representatives [constitute] are a standing committee.
             31          Section 2. Effective date.
             32          This resolution takes effect upon approval by a constitutional majority vote of all
             33      members of the House of Representatives.
