HOUSE RULES RESOLUTION - SCHEDULING
2 GUEST SPEAKERS
3 2003 GENERAL SESSION
4 STATE OF UTAH
5 Sponsor: Marda Dillree
6 This resolution modifies House Rules by eliminating the Rules Committee's authority to
7 schedule guest speakers. This resolution takes effect immediately.
8 This resolution affects legislative rules as follows:
9 REPEALS:
10 HR-24.33
11 Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the state of Utah:
12 Section 1. Repealer.
13 This act repeals:
14 Rule HR-24.33, Scheduling Guest Speakers.
15 Section 2. Effective date.
16 This resolution takes effect upon approval by a constitutional majority vote of all
17 members of the House of Representatives.
